It was a marvelous Sunday. The weather system didn't materialize and I see blue sky stretching off into the distance. I should be outside "catching some rays " but I wanted to get another edition of the Blog written. Just a few things for you today and most of them are photos.
First up is a photo of Art's "Grandpa Munster's Dragula". Many of you know Art - he's the master behind the laser engraving we do in the store. Stamps or stencils? He's the man. What you may not know, Art has a talent for making miniature models. The photos show his latest creation: Grandpa Munster's Dragula and it took about two months to build. Art wasn't satisfied with the basic kit so he made a few modifications. He made the exhaust pipes from aluminum tubing and then polished it to a high finish. The interior was lined with embossed paper and trimmed with gold rope. The canopy lining was done with purple fabric (Priscilla found it in her sewing material box) and also lined with gold rope. As a finishing touch, Art custom fabricated a new instrument panel and engine distributor. You have to see it in person - it's pretty amazing.

The last thing I have for you are several photos taken of Debbie and Pam's recent class - "Altered Art Adventure 3". Everyone had a lot fun and the time seemed to fly by. Our thanks to Debbie and Pam for sharing their talent and tricks of the trade.
