Happenings at A Place in Time on October 6

Good Evening Friends,

It's been only a couple of days since my last blog entry, but there are a couple items that I wanted to pass along to you. Fran brought in the sample of her next class "The Coin Envelope Album". Fran has designed some really great projects in the past. This current project is really fantastic. Using beautiful tones and colors, Fran has created a class project that anybody - new to crafting or experienced - would be proud of. If you have the time, please come in and see the sample for yourself.

Don't miss this class. The class is on Thursday October 13th (6:30 - 8:30pm). The cost is $20.00. The supplies you will need are a paper trimmer, adhesive (Tacky Glue), Scissors, Brown Ink - Time Holtz Walnut Stain recommended, Corner rounder, Scor-Pal or Bone Folder, Sanding Block - Tim Hotlz Sanding Block recommended, Corp-a-dile, and a Piercing Tool.

The next item I want to share with you is a tag Marsha brought into the store. As on most days, the conversation in store drifts towards the sharing of techniques. Yesterday, Marsha was telling me about the possibilities using Tim Holtz's Distressed Ink Pads. The photo reflects the combination of Sizzix's new Stamp and Die-cut product (Bamboo Framelits) with the distressed ink pads. Marsha has done a really beautiful job and I am very grateful. This is something I look forward to experimenting with in a variety of ways.

It's been very busy the last couple of days and there's a busy weekend ahead. The Scrapper's Jam is on Saturday, the free Make and Take on Sunday, and Discoverer's Day on Monday.

We will see you tomorrow,
