Happenings at A Place in Time on October 23rd

Good evening all,

As promised, I have the samples for Fran Kawakami's next class to share with you. The class is on Thursday October 27th - 6:30-8:30 pm. I also believe this will be Fran's last class for this year. Fran typically takes a break in November and December to share the holidays with family. If you have the time, the samples are displayed on the Class Board. Fran has designed a set of 6 Christmas tags that you will totally enjoy making. It will be interesting to see if you are willing to give them away or keep them for yourself. Give me a call if your interested in taking the class. The cost of the class is $20.00. The supplies you will need are adhesive tape and/or tacky glue, scissors, white pen, fine black pen, ruler, black ink and applicator tool or (sponge/dauber), and 3/8" glue dots. The optional items (if you have them) are a Crop-a-dile, tweezers, Xyron 150 sticker maker, Scor-pal, Liquid pearls (white opal and rouge), and the Coin Envelope Template.

One last thing that I have for you tonight is a class scheduled for November 5th ( 5:00-7:00 pm). Debbie West is the instructor and the theme of the class is an Asian Album. As soon as I have the sample I will post it on the blog. Debbie taught this technique in a previous class and it was fun for all who participated. You will learn how to take simple construction materials (chipboard and paper) and make it into a very special album. If you have the time, come into the store and I'll show you the sample from the previous class. I don't think you will want to miss this class. The Asian Album would make a very nice gift for someone special in your life.

That's all for now..... I'll see you tomorrow. It should be a busy week with new arrivals.
