May Happenings on the 4th

Good morning,

I took a break from my blog duties - a cold will do that. So now I'm back to normal self. Easter seems so long ago. Everyone had a lot fun as they searched high and not so low for the treasures the eggs contained. Especially valuable were Priscilla's "Dragon Eggs". There was over $600 in prizes to be found. If you missed it, stay tuned for next year.

After taking a well deserved vacation, Fran Kawakami will be having her first class in May on the 12th. She is calling it "Lunch Box Notes" and it looks to be a lot of fun. Everyone likes an unexpected surprise. Take the class and surprise someone you care about with a moment of happiness. The class is from 6:30-8:30 pm and the cost is $20.00 Check the board for the tools to bring.

Recently, Priscilla took the Card Making Kit we received from Basic Grey and made some samples to stir your "creative juices". I wish my picture taking capabilities did them justice. Please come in and review the samples for yourself.

This coming Sunday (May 8th) would have been our typical 2nd Sunday Make and Take. However, since this Sunday is Mother's Day, we will be postponing the Make an Take to the 15th of May. It will, as always, be from 2:00-5:00pm.
As Soon as I have a sample I will post it.

If you have the time on Mother's Day, come in and see what surprises we have for you. I can't tell you more than that right now.

Mark your calendar! Saturday, May 14th... Cherie, our Szzix representative, will be in the store for a special Make and Take project. For those of you that have the Eclips machine or thinking about acquiring one, this will be of interest to you. The Make and Take project will be a windowed box. The Make and Take project is from 1:00-3:00pm. I hope I have the time to learn a thing or two also.

Ah Ha! Please note the newsletter for the details. Priscilla is offering a special event for stencil users. It's only $5.00 and you have the opportunity to purchase the Dreamweaver Stencil LX7002 at 25% off. The money saved is like getting the event for free.

More to follow so stay tuned. See you tomorrow....
